- You will be writing your master thesis in the computer vision team and contribute to our research for logistic grasping robots.
- You will be researching the state of the art in uncertainty quantification for deep neural networks in application for object pose estimation and select appropriate concepts.
- You will be implementing, adapting and evaluating your selected concepts on logistic grasping robots in realistic logistic environments.
- Currently enrolled in a university program in the field of Computer Science, or Software Engineering or related studies (e.g., Robotics).
- Strong knowledge and experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and related packages (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch).
- Strong knowledge in Python.
- Experience in Software Engineering principles and related concepts (e.g., test-driven development, code reviews, Git branching, etc.)
- Ideally, demonstrated the qualifications in real-world projects and Unix / Ubuntu, ROS, Docker.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently, German is advantageous.
